Anthony began writing short poems at the age of 14 influenced mainly by Hip-Hop and Folk music, in 2002 he won the London Mayor’s Poetry Slam. Having performed poetry across the UK (including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Exeter and Liverpool). Anthony has also made various appearances on radio and TV performing one of his poems for Vanessa Feltz and also appeared alongside Kate Tempest on BBC’s Youth Nation presented by Richard Blackwood and later became a member of the panel. In 2009 he released Card Not Accepted, a self-published book encompassing a collection of essays, short stories and poetry that reflect moments and observations of life.
In 2010, Anthony toured the UK supporting MOBO award-winning artist Akala on tour.
